///The Thank You's
It's always good to start with the parents : M & D, we're a nice little tripod. Mom - the Martini at the Bistro is what got me on that Open Mic Stage. And you saying "Try it again." Dad, I get the desire to write from you - You have such a nice way of saying things. You both listened to these songs more than anyone should ever have to - and so you can have copy # 959 (after I sell the other 40.) DuRoss - clearly this project wouldn't have a heartbeat without you. Thanks for saying "Hey, want to do an album?" Hopefully the Jameson can sum it up. Lizzy - anytime I need anything, you say "I can do that." The artwork, the website, the sonic advice, the creative inspiration, patching up my jeans - you get it all worked out. Amazing. Penny Lane, Dana May, Diana, Gillian, Ashley and Keri - it's a nice thing to have ladies like you. Inspiration. And Sing-Alongs - Thank You for knowing the words. Ashley - I don't know when I would have started music if you hadn't suggested laying down tracks instead of writing an essay. Mr. Greg Sims - for recording from the beginning. To Jonny and Joel - that was nothing like 498 - you liked it all? I moved forward with your thumbs up. Mr Christopher Ray - You keep inspiring me with music I haven't yet heard, and filmography I didn't know existed. Keep it coming. To the musicians whose gorgeous work was added in here - Chuck Mauk, Pat Proudy and Sarah K. Myers. Rob Jasey - for jumping on the bandwagon with computer skills and a camera. Shannon Taylor - I am indebted to you : you got lost in the county and still showed up on the Farm with a smile and lenses at the ready. Ron - for telling it to me straight. Fumbled here and there, but you never told me to put an end to it. That's a good sign. Grandma Burrows, for project donations, scrubbies and jam. Grandpa Kaufmann, for helping me get the first keyboard to gig with. Betty - you still come into the songs all, all, all the time. The Grassie Clan - You smiled when you heard the music - I couldn't ask for more. Chris - Ann Arbor did me proud - I got re-inspired. I had access to Creative People and the Perfect Studio. And you made everyone listen. Thank you for the Upright in the Apartment, and the Keep Going. The Duttas, The Burns, The Farmers, The Browns, The Coles - Your warmth and kindness, and interest and ideas, and excitement and curiosity, all made me feel like this was something admirable. Judy - I love that you love all this. You knew every opportunity that was available to me, and you let me know that something like this is legitimate. You've been hearing it from the start - thank you thank you thank you. Carolyn - I cannot believe you had to wait so long to hear the final versions. You've been stuck with that demo? You are definitely one of my most favourite people in the entire world. Looking forward to everything in the future. (Manager?) Esme, Liam, Vivienne - Font Choices, Listening to Songs on my iPhone, Playing Instruments with me in the basement - the 3 of you Enliven me every single day. Let's keep rockin' and rollin', yeah? Elnian - I am forever indebted to you for living below a piano. To Zach, for listening in at the end, when I no longer could. You and Belle have dibs on copies 1 and 2. Kyle - for always listening to music with me, for putting up with listening to music with me, and for letting me sing in your Garage Band when I was 17. You're the brother everyone else wanted. And can I one more time? Mom and Dad. Thank You.
